Movement Day is officially upon us at the 150th Open Championship, paving the way for an unforgettable round of golf to help determine who is truly in contention for Sunday’s final round at St Andrews Old Course. At the 36-hole mark, Cameron Smith topped 18-hole leader Cameron Young with a 36-hole score of 131, the lowest four in Open history (two off the record pace).

The youngster, however, is tied for second place with Rory McIlroy and Victor Hovland (-10), Dustin Johnson (-9) and Scotty Scheffler (-8) in a thrilling finish at St Andrews. 14 of the last 15 Open championships at St. Andrews have had a three-shot lead through 36 holes and each of the last seven Open winners has been T4 or better this season and will be the 2022 Champion Golfer of the Year. It could be one of these six golfers.

Playing in a star-studded field with St Andrews serving as a historic backdrop, the pressure and pressure of the year’s final big is already shaping up to be one to remember for the 150th Open Championship.
