In Pokemon Go, Snorunt can evolve into two different Ice-type Pokemon: Glalie and Froslass.

Glalie’s best move in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go players should equip Glalie with Ice Piece for Fast Move, Avalanche and Shadow Ball as Charged Moves.

Ice Shard has a lower DPS (6.0) compared to Frost Breath (7.0), another Quick Move Glalie can learn. However, the higher EPS (6.7) makes the difference with Ice Shard.

When it comes to Charged Moves, Glalie can only learn two out of three different moves.

Avalanche is a powerful Ice-type move that makes a difference. Shadow Ball, meanwhile, is the obvious choice for a second Charged Move.

Is Glalie good?

Indeed, Glalie is not a particularly strong Pokemon for PvP play in Pokemon Go.

The type of ice did not rank particularly high PvPokeMajor and Ultra League rankings. With so many powerful Ice types like Dewgong, Walrein, and Regice, it’s simply not a great option on its own.

But Mega Glalie is a different story. When Mega Evolved, Glalie becomes one of the more powerful Ice types in the game.
