Some of them Stardew Valley Fans are feeling vindicated today after game creator Eric Barone confirmed on Twitter that left-to-right harvesting is faster than right-to-left harvesting. Apparently, this bug will eventually be fixed once it’s in the game after its launch in 2016.

From 2022 Stardew Valley fans have been waiting for the 1.6 update. Although it’s been a while, we know a big update that adds new content, fixes old bugs and makes modding the game easier.Coming to PC on March 19th. (It will be available on consoles and phones after that.) At launch, Barone shares. patch notes and snippets Here’s what fans can expect as they count down the days to 1.6. And the upcoming change confirms what many players previously suspected.

On March 12 Barone tweeted a single photo Shows a patch note that will be included in the March 19 1.6 update. It simply states:

  • Fixed a bug where left-to-right dialing was faster than right-to-left dialing

Unless you are Stardew Valley player, you may not understand what this means. Of course, harvesting from one direction was faster than the other. What’s the big deal?

Well, for years and now have fans shared videos suggests it is true, but has never been 100% confirmed by Barone or previous patch notes. So some fans weren’t entirely sure it was faster and just assumed it looked different depending on how you stacked the animation. But no! Collecting items from left to right was actually a bit faster, and that was due to a long-standing bug.

When asked if this bug has been in the game since launch, Barone said: “As far as I know, yes.” The creator of the popular life-sim later explained why this is so. “The left-facing product animation was 100ms longer than it should have been,” Barone said. Now the dial from right to left will be jfast from left to rightending a Stardew Valley conspiracy theory it was about ten years.

We can all sleep now knowing that when we hit 1.6 soon on March 19th, harvesting will be at the same rate for all players regardless of your orientation. Finally.
