Tiger Woods made national history in Augusta on Friday afternoon.
Woods, who posted an even-par 72 in the second round, will make it safely through the Masters. This marks his 24th straight major championship streak, an all-time record. This officially ended his relationship with the Gary Player and Fred couple.
Woods enters the weekend at 1-over, still behind Bryson DeChambeau – who entered the day with the lead. DeChambeau is holding firm at 7-under midway through the second round, though Scotty Scheffler and Max Homma aren’t far behind.
