Q1. What is UGC-NET?
Answer. The University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET is an examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for two roles.
Assistant Professor: This qualification allows individuals to teach in Indian universities and colleges.
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship: Candidates eligible for both roles are eligible for JRF awards and Assistant Professorship.
Q 2. How will UGC-NET be conducted?
Answer. UGC-NET is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Q3. When will the UGC-NET exam be conducted?
Answer. UGC-NET is conducted twice a year in June and December.
