Xbox Game Pass Tier Changes Call Of Duty Prices

Changes to Xbox Game Pass tiers come as Microsoft’s subscription service is rumored to include a new Call of Duty.

Yesterday, we covered a report from the WSJ outlet claiming that this year’s Call of Duty entry will be coming to Game Pass. The news will probably be announced at the Xbox showcase next month. Following this report, several sources claim that Microsoft is planning to make changes to Game Pass tiers, possibly with a price increase, mainly due to the inclusion of Call of Duty.

On the ResetEra forums, insider ‘Shinobi’ is the first to be recognized he said In response to a comment that Microsoft will introduce new pricing and reorganize Game Pass tiers, “there will be changes.” Also, X-speaking Spanish insider ‘eXtas1s’ (often writes for Exputer output) claims “Changes” are coming to Game Pass levels, mainly because of Call of Duty. No further details have been shared yet.

Another insider who shared “information” about the rumored changes to Xbox Game Pass is “NateDrake”, who collaborated with “eXtas1s” claim above. Responding to a question from a user on the ResetEra forums asking if the changes would include tier changes and price increases, a well-known insider said that Microsoft will be making changes to pricing and tiers.

“Changes come in the form of price and tier changes”, ‘NateDrake’ he wrote in the forums.

As always with such rumors, take the “information” provided with a pinch of salt for now. Still, these sources have proven to be pretty accurate in the past, and if the company does indeed include the Call of Duty series in Game Pass, it would make sense for Microsoft to make changes to the subscription service.
