Activision’s Call of Duty marketing machine has kicked into high gear with the release of the first teaser for Black Ops 6.
This first teaser, below, was published by CharlieIntel X/Twitter accountShows live footage of Mount Rushmore being vandalized with “The Truth Lies”. teaser site It features interactive television with a total of six channels, referring to the name of the game.

A second teaser has also already leaked online, suggesting that it won’t be long before we see what the remaining four channels have in store. The latest clip is about 20 seconds shorter than the first and shows what appears to be the same mysterious group as they put up their black and orange The Truth Lies posters.

Microsoft will reportedly announce plans to release Black Ops 6 directly to Game Pass at the Xbox showcase in June. Microsoft has so far declined to comment on these reports, but they agree Recent comments from Xbox President Sarah BondNoting that all of Microsoft’s games, including those made by recently acquired Activision, will go directly to Game Pass.
Activision is reportedly targeting a late October 2024 release for this year’s Call of Duty. It is expected to be called Black Ops 6 The battle royale was picked up by developer Treyarch after teasers revealed in Warzone. Microsoft is rumored to be ready to release the Call of Duty back catalog of video games to Game Pass before the release of Black Ops 6.
Further details about Black Ops 6 remain a mystery, though a TV-themed teaser website promises more will be revealed soon. At least we can expect to hear more when Xbox holds its next showcase on June 9, 2024.
