Physical Standard Test (PST)
For men:
- Height: 5-6 inches (minimum)
- chest belt 32″ (unstretched)
- chest belt 33 ½” (expanded)
For women:
Relaxation on a physical level;
- The minimum height will be for candidates belonging to Gorkha community and Bot tribe.
Relax by 2 inches.

Physical Fitness Test (PET)
For Male Candidates:
- A long race. 1600 meters in 6 ½ minutes (six minutes and thirty seconds)
- Push up: 20 (One up and down cycle counts as one)
For female candidates:
- A long race. 1000 meters in 6 ½ minutes (six minutes and thirty seconds)
- Shotgun (4 kg) 14 ½ feet in three attempts.
