In fact, Dr. Seitz says eating a balanced, nutritious diet is one of the best things you can do for your heart. “This means eating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein and limiting processed foods, saturated fat and sugar,” he explains. “Eating a healthy diet lowers our risk of heart disease and stroke, and helps control blood pressure and cholesterol.” It’s known!

#2. Do regular exercise

#3 Limit alcohol consumption

Drinking too much alcohol can cause a variety of health problems, including problems with your heart. This does not mean that you should stop drinking completely, but it is always better to practice moderation. Dr. Seitz said, “Drinking alcohol in moderation can be part of a healthy lifestyle, but drinking too much alcohol can be harmful. Drinking too much alcohol can contribute to high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke.” all right!
