Boston Celtics Head coach Ime Udoka may face a “big ban” for violating organizational guidelines.

It is not clear what kind of violation occurred, however ESPN reports He is discussing “possible disciplinary action” with the Celtics.

ESPN also stated that Udoka is not in danger of losing his job, but the ban is coming and could be announced by Thursday.

In his first season with the Celtics last year, Udoka led Boston to the 2018 NBA Finals Eastern Conference Finals, his team defeated the Miami Heat to advance to the NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors would eventually win.

The Celtics entered the game with a 51-31 record as the number two seed in the Eastern Conference.
