EMPRESS cracked Resident Evil 4 Remake, which means it successfully cracked Denuvo V18, the latest version of Denuvo.

According to Cracker, Resident Evil 4 Remake used four different DRMs. Along with Denuvo V18, Capcom used Denuvo SecureDLC V2, its own Anti-Tamper technology and VMProtect.

As with all cracks now, it mostly bypasses the aforementioned DRMs. It doesn’t delete them completely, which means they’re still running in the background. However, the cracked version may have less stuttering than the retail version. After all, that’s exactly what happened with Resident Evil Village.

Having finished Resident Evil 4 Remake, I can say that the game only has transition stutters. These stutters are mainly due to game stream data for the following fields. So I believe the pirated version will have them as well. Still, it will be interesting to see a comparison video between them.

As always, we will not allow links to pirated content. So no, don’t bother sharing any link to it.

It will be interesting to see if EMPRESS can crack the latest games using Denuvo. Dead Island 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor came after RE4R. Jedi Survivor also uses the EA App, which can be very difficult to bypass. Yeah, I don’t expect this new Star Wars game to be hacked anytime soon.

Stay tuned for more!
