Former Minnesota Gopher is running back. Death of Marion Barber III According to Texas officials, it was caused by an accidental hemorrhage.
The Colin County Medical Examiner’s Office announced Monday that Barber’s death was imminent. During a security check on June 1, police found Barber dead in a Frisco, Texas apartment. He was 38 years old.
Memorial Scholarship Fund in the Name of Barber College of Education and Human Development has been established for the University of Minnesota, for those who are financially disadvantaged, unrepresented, or who have no barriers to achieving their academic goals.

Barber graduated from Waizata High School in 2001 and became one of the greatest Gopher supporters. He and Gopher Lawrence Maroni were partners in the First Division 1 team for 1,000 consecutive seasons.
The Dallas Cowboys voted Barber in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He scored 24 goals in 2006-07.
Barber made his only probation in 2007 with 975 yards and 10 touchdowns. The final season of the tournament came with Cowboys in 2010.
