Blizzard is rumored to release Diablo 4 in April 2023.

Therefore XboxEra podcast and Windows Centerboth believe that Diablo 4’s original “2023” release window could be narrowed to April, with early access reportedly launching in February and pre-orders beginning early next month.

More news is thought to come during The Game Awards in December, which certainly sounds plausible enough. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long to see if the rumors are true; The awards are set for December 8, which is just a few short weeks away.

ICYMI, Blizzard has announced that it is conducting closed beta tests “For players who have recently “spent significant time in Diablo end-game experiences”. Some have leaked online.

Blizzard’s Albany-based group Diablo testers have earned the right to create a community.

Their petition to the US National Labor Relations Board was accepted last month, setting the stage for a vote by workers to formalize the process. Ballots have been distributed and the results will be announced on November 18.

Activision Blizzard previously opposed the process going forward, arguing that it should be handled by a larger team at the Albany studio rather than the testing team. Ultimately, the NLRB disagreed.
