Warframe developer Digital extremes and Darksiders: Genesis developer Airship syndicate announced a partnership to create a new it was free to playonline, character-based, third-person fantasy action game set in a “brand new, original world adventure it’s the name of the game with friends.”

“I signed Darksiders At THQ and I’m trying to work [creative director Joe Madureira] and [Airship Syndicate president Ryan Stefanelli] since then, our reunion has been a decade in the making, and Airship Syndicate couldn’t be happier, and for them, this opportunity couldn’t be brighter,” said Richard Brown, head of external projects at Digital Extremes, in a press release.

Airship Syndicate President Ryan Stefanelli added, “We are a group of passionate, experienced game developers based in Austin, Texas. Our goal is simple: to build a lean, fun, independent game studio to create high-quality games for a variety of gaming platforms.”

The game’s full launch is planned for The Game Awards 2022 this fall.
