Dragon’s Dogma fans have been eagerly awaiting the reveal of the sequel, and while today’s Capcom Highlights stream didn’t announce a gameplay demo, it did reveal that the character creator and memory will be available today.

If you use the pre-release character creator, you’ll be able to transfer your character to the full game when it releases on March 22nd. Dragon’s Dogma II has a pretty deep character creator, so this is a great opportunity. Get a head start on your Arisen and basic Pawn before the official release.

As Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno told us as part of our IGN First in January, character creation was a particular point of interest for the developers. The original Dragon’s Dogma also had a highly detailed character creator, but this time the team wanted to give players as much freedom as possible with the benefits of better hardware performance. For example, there are 12 slides for just one person’s nose.

“You can think of your ideal character, but you basically have to be an artist to shape that character with your own hands, so that’s where we had to start when deciding how character creation would work,” Itsuno said. time.

Dragon’s Dogma II is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of the month, and it’s also Capcom’s first $70 game. For more, check out our final impressions and 11 minutes of gameplay.

Dragon’s Dogma II will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
