Necrozma Fusion Solgaleo Lunala Dusk Mane Dawn Wings

Trainers, see the power of Pokémon fusion! Thanks to this amazing new power, Necrozma, the Prism Pokémon, can take on awesome alternate forms in Pokémon GO! The powerful Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma are created by combining Necrozma with the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon, or Lunala, the Moone Pokémon, which all Trainers will be able to do for the first time at Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global.

How to get Necrozma Fusions in Pokémon GO

Pokémon fusion is the ability to combine certain Pokémon with their altered appearance into a single, more powerful form. So far, this phenomenon has only been observed and documented with Necrozma, and it appears that the newly discovered Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy are the keys to using fusion.

Combine Necrozma with Solgaleo and Lunala

With enough Fusion Energy, Necrozma can either fuse with Solgaleo to become Dusk Mane Necrozma or Lunala Dawn Wings Necrozma.

You cannot catch Necrozma in molten form from Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma raids. The raid boss can always be caught in its base form like normal Necrozma. You need a Necrozma, Solgaleo, or Lunala in your Pokémon stash to combine Necrozma.

  • Trainers can fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo using 1000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy and 30 Cosmog Candy.
  • Trainers can fuse Necrozma and Lunala using 1000 Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy.

Necrozma Fusion Solgaleo Lunala Dusk Mane Dawn Wings2By looking at the Necrozma Pokémon page, if you have the right resources, you’ll be able to fuse Necrozma. It will look like the picture above.

A merged Necrozma will remain in this form until the Trainer separates them. Separating won’t cost any Fusion Energy or Pokémon Candy, but putting them back together will still cost the same amount.

The mixture will take all of Necrozman’s statsand won’t be affected by Solgaleo or Lunala’s stats, so we recommend using bad IV Solgaleo and Lunala for your combos with good IV Necrozma.

How to get Solgaleo or Lunala for Fusion

On July 14th, there is a free research to get Cosmog (which you can use to evolve into Solgaleo/Lunala). Global Ticket holders will be further research to buy another Lunala or Solgaleo they encounter depending on the path they choose.

Once you connect Lunala or Solgaleo, you cannot use Lunala or Solgaleo for anything. They’re grayed out and you won’t be able to click on them (if you want to trade it, but you’ve already maxed out for that particular trade, as it looks shiny).

Some quick tips:

  • Reboiling a Pokemon will cost the same as your first fusion. There is no discount like mega evolutions, so we recommend making sure you want to keep this particular combination.
  • Currently, the only way to get Moon/Solar Fusion Energy is through GO Fest 2024 special research and Dusk Mane/Dawn Wings raids. You cannot currently tour a friend for Fusion Energy.
  • We currently don’t know how much fusion energy you can earn per raid.
  • Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma raids can be completed remotely.

Selected Attacks

These combined Pokémon have attacks!

Dusk Mane Necrozma

Necrozma combined with Solgaleo with Dark Mane will know Charged Attack Sunsteel Strike.

Sunsteel Strike Steel

  • Trainer Battles: 135 power
  • Gyms and raids: 230 power

Dawn Wings Necrozma

Necrozma merged with Lunala into Wings of Dawn Necrozma will recognize the Charged Attack Moongeist Beam.

Moongeist beam Nightmare

  • Trainer Battles: 135 power
  • Gyms and raids: 230 power

As long as you have enough resources to do so, you can unmerge whenever you want to get special moves. These special attacks are not limited to GO Fest Global.

Most likely, Necrozma will retain the displayed attack if you disable it. However, remember that the cost of re-protection will not be discounted.

additional notes

  • You cannot leave a merged Pokemon in a gym
  • Pokémon can be activated after fusion (unlike Mega Pokémon).
  • Pokemon cannot be traded or moved to Pokémon Home after fusion. To get lucky fused forms you need to get lucky Necrozma first and then fuse it.
  • You can have multiple fused forms in your Pokémon Memory at the same time. (Works similar to furrow trims)
  • Necrozma retains all traits from Necrozma, including IVs, when combined., instead of teaming up with Solgaleo/Lunala, you should get everything you want in Necrozma (best friend, level, lucky status, special background, shiny). Solgaleo/Lunala combined will have no effect on Necrozman’s stats.
  • The same goes for the Shiny status – shiny Necrozma will result in shiny Wings of Dawn and Dusk Mane Necrozma.
  • Combined Necrozma forms take up 1 slot for Necrozma and 1 slot for Solgaleo/Lunala, a total of 2 Pokémon storage slots.
  • there is Fusion for Necrozma has no time limit or cooldown, unlike Mega Evolution, Fusion is permanent unless you choose to unfuse it. So once you get Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma, it won’t revert to unfused Pokémon unless you choose to turn it off. This is a permanent association.
