Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Studios has advised players who experience persistent crashes to “rest the game for a while” while the team looks for a fix.

Community manager Twinbeard confirmed the arrival of a fix in a message posted to the game’s Discord server and later to its subreddit, but couldn’t specify a time, or even a day, when it might roll out.

“A fix for crashes is coming, but not over the weekend,” Twinbeard said.

“Hang in there or maybe let the game rest for a while. I feel you and I’m glad [sic] I hear you love the game, but it’s going to wait here even if you let democracy lie for a few days.”

The manner in which the message was delivered also caused some concern in the community.

“They REALLY need to post these so they get more attention instead of just a comment about the controversy.” he said a commentator.

“In general, I’m really sick of developers using Discord as their primary form of communication with their communities,” he said. else. “Don’t get me wrong, Twitter is a hell of a site, but it’s the best way to get important information quickly. If you want to talk about your game with your player base in a more casual way, use Discord or Reddit. .”

There haven’t been any updates since the update arrived, but – as always – we’ll let you know if it changes. However, players who choose to “rest” until the issue is resolved will lose the current time limit Grand Order.
