Friday, Nightdive said System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition features updated cinematics, textures, character and weapon models. The developer is also cooperating so that it can integrate the best patches and mods developed by the community into the remaster. Thanks to Nightdive bringing the game’s original source code into its in-house engine , System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition will be available on current generation consoles. Judging by the teaser trailer, the studio has done a commendable job of maintaining it. System Shock 2 art style and atmosphere while enhancing the quality of game assets. We hope Nightdive can prevent this from happening again .
