Last Monday we saw a supposed render of the Nothing Phone (2a) courtesy of @OnLeaks. It turns out that the render is not the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a), but rather the never-released Nothing smartphone that never made it. That’s why the rendering looks so convincing.
First by Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) was questioned Nothing’s tagline “See the world with fresh eyes” — a reference to the redesigned camera island of the Nothing Phone (2a) — didn’t make sense as it appeared here.
Steve (aka @OnLeaks) himself admitted that the rendering is not real.
Expect the Nothing Phone (2a) to look more like the render on the right.
