Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas recently responded on social media announcing that his bosses aren’t going anywhere.
“I hear rumors, including from the mayor of Dallas,” Lucas wrote. “Don’t believe the hype, Kansas City. We are committed to keeping our teams at extremely low costs – consider the necessary infrastructure – even for intra-metro movement. Both teams will be in KCMO in 2040 and long after.
