Microsoft is set to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass later this month.
The 2023 Call of Duty title will mark the first of the older Call of Duty games to come to Xbox Game Pass. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, the game received generally positive reviews from the public, but critics found its single-player content too short and lackluster.
It is understood that the announcement could come today, which is believed to be the original plan for Xbox Game Pass price increases and changes. In some regions, the price of the subscription service has increased up to 25%.
Starting July 10, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will increase from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, a $3 monthly increase. PC Game Pass subscriptions will increase from $9.99 to $11.99 per month and will continue to give you access to day one releases.
Insider Gaming could not confirm an exact release date at the time of publication, but several sources suggested it would be sometime in the second half of this month. Last week, several new claims said that older Activision games, including Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, would begin arriving on the subscription service later this month.
