FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Wide receiver Jacob MeyersThe New England Patriots, who led the New England Patriots with 13 receptions for 150 yards, is not expected to play in Sunday’s home opener against the Baltimore Ravens, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Meyers was initially listed as questionable with a left knee injury suffered during the team’s preseason game on Aug. 26. Since then, he has been dealing with various types of discomfort, the source said.

This week, Meyers did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was a limited participant on Friday. He was hoping things would improve when he entered the game to give himself a chance to play.

Meyers emerged as a quarterback. Mc Jones‘ Go-to receiver. In the Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was targeted 13 times, twice as many as the next pass rusher. He was targeted a team-high six times in Week 1.
