Nintendo expands Switch Online’s GBA Library with three more titles

Nintendo released a new update for the Switch Online Game Boy Advance library today. It adds a trio of colorful action games starring Starfy, which you may recognize from the DS title The Legendary Starfy.

These three GBA games developed by Tose were previously exclusive to Japan. No Densetsu Starfy released first 2002the second game continued 2003 and the third game was released 2004. A quick crash course on Starfy, courtesy of Nintendo:

Densetsu is the Japanese word for legend, and Starfy – Prince of Pufftop Kingdom, hero with a heart of gold (and a bit clumsy) and frequent water explorer – is ready to show you what makes him legendary! Join Starfy, his sister Starly and his best friend Moe in the swimming trilogy of live action and adventure games available on the Game Boy Advance system.”

No Densetsu Starfy – No sleep until Pufftop! A sudden storm causes Starfi, the princess of a floating sky kingdom called Pufftop, to fall from her high house into the sea. Fortunately, he is rescued by an old crab named Lobber, who takes his lovable hero on a grand journey to Pufftop. While the road home is full of dangers, Starfy will have to use a variety of abilities including Star Spin and Glide and vehicles like the mighty Mole Tank to overcome the challenges that await. The legend begins here!

Densetsu no Starfy 2 – Help Starfy save his mother and bring peace to Pufftop Kingdom in this action-packed sequel! Spin and swim with the star siblings and familiar friends, including… Wario?! If you are interested, Japan received the same three Game Boy Advance titles This week for Switch Online. This latest update follows seven games added to the NES library earlier this month.
