Free agent pass-rusher Leonard Floyd has agreed to a deal with the San Francisco 49ers.

NFL Network reports that Floyd is signing a two-year, $20 million contract.
Floyd signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills last June. Lorenzo Alexander finished the 2023 season tied for the most sacks by a Bills player in a single season with 10.5 after getting 12.5 in 2016.
“For me, I always go where the money goes,” Floyd said of his future during a locker room cleanup. “Play for another team, but you know, I’d rather be here, but it’s what it is. It’s business. I’m going to go where my agent feels like we’re going to make a lot of money.”
31-year-old Floyd He was drafted 9th overall by the Chicago Bears in 2016 but was released before the 2020 season, even though the team exercised the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. He spent the next three seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, including winning Super Bowl VI.
He has 58 sacks, 122 quarterback hits and 370 tackles in eight seasons.
