Mike Yastrzemski’s two-run second-inning double helped the Giants make MLB history with an 8-4 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday at Oracle Park.

The two runs pushed the Giants past 100,000 total runs in franchise history, making them just the second MLB team to accomplish the feat (h/t) (Fox Sports). The Chicago Cubs hold the all-time franchise record for runs scored at 101,922, according to Baseball Reference.

While San Francisco doesn’t hold the hitting record, Francisco has the most wins in MLB history with 11,489, 11,367 more than their longtime rivals, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Giants’ offense is 8-2 over the last three games and has scored 76 total attempts over the last 10 games. While San Francisco has struggled with injuries to key starters over the past few weeks, young minor league call-ups like Heliot Ramos and Brett Weasley are filling in surprisingly well.

At 28-27, the Giants are in the National League wild card race and sit five games behind the Dodgers in the NL West.
