Some players have compared the new game to a “Pokemon rip-off with guns” due to the similarities between the two franchises and the fact that it won’t be available on Nintendo consoles.

Palworld’s “epic” Pokemon mod brings iconic characters to the game
While Palworld was supposed to lack mod support after its release, Australian YouTuber Toasted Shoes was able to get it. screenshots of Pokemon mod in action in the game. Since the game has been in Early Access on Steam and Xbox since its release, moderators have been at work uploading the Pokemon mod pack online.

The video demonstrates how the mod allows players to take on the role of Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon series and take part in battles against a variety of characters including Venusaur and Team Rocket. Pikachu, Oddish, Ash’s friends Misty and Brock and many other favorite franchise characters are part of the mod.
Pocket Pair has yet to release official mod support, and although the mod has not been confirmed, it was included in the game via a backdoor in the code.
