Steam is down as users report a sudden disconnection on the world’s largest PC games launcher and store.

According to IGN’s sister site DownDetector, users are reporting a sudden cutoff on Steam. Attempts to access Steam failed. It is not clear what caused the sudden crash.

There has been no official statement from Valve regarding the cause of the outage or when services will be restored.

Steam is gearing up to launch its next big sale, the Steam Fall Sale, which starts on November 22nd and runs until November 29th.

IGN will update this story when Steam services are restored, but until then you can continue to check IGN for regular updates.
