Samsung Galaxy A14 5G launched in India, USA, and it hit several other markets this month, and the smartphone has now started receiving its first software update. In some markets, the device hasn’t even reached consumers, so buyers will find the new update ready to install as soon as they launch the phone.
The latest Galaxy A14 5G (SM-A146B) software update comes with firmware version A146BXXU1AWA2. It brings a new update January 2023 security patch that removes dozens of security vulnerabilities, including Samsung Knox and Secure Folder. The update may also include general bug fixes, performance improvements, and additional optimizations.
If you bought the device recently, make sure to check for the latest software update for it. You can do this with the header Parameters ยป Software update and tap Download and install. You can too download the new firmware file from our firmware database and turn it on manually.
Samsung turned on Galaxy A14 5G a few days ago, and this is the company’s first smartphone launch for 2023. The device comes with Android 13 based One UI 5.0 out of the box. It will receive at least two major Android OS updates and at least four annual security updates.
