Signing Day Episode Deux has come and gone, and as usual, the sequel offers none of the drama of the original. Maybe the Power 5 commissioners who run college football will come to their senses and go six deep during the December signing period, not for fun on the first Wednesday in February, but for the sanity of coaches from coast to coast.
Monopoly money shouldn’t require their 24/7 dedication to roster management, and you know when they’re trying to coach their teams through the postseason.

Wednesday marked the unofficial end to the 2022 college football season and the start of the 2023 championship or playoff edition in Tuscaloosa.
After missing the playoffs for the second time in four years, Alabama won its third national championship in five years. Georgia won the outright national championship for the second year in a row, then finished directly behind Alabama in recruiting.
