The games that generate the most interesting statistics are often the games with the highest scores. More points, more stats.

But when it’s the Eagles and the Chiefs, with the Eagles recovering from a double-digit deficit, Patrick Mahomes being uncharacteristically ineffective, there’s certainly no shortage of stats.

So here’s our Week 11 edition of Roob’s Eagles Stats, with a turnover margin view, 1St-Scoring a quarterback, Jalen running for a rushing touchdown and a rarity of beating the Chiefs against Arrowhead hurt after trailing by double digits at halftime.

1. The Chiefs’ longest passing game Monday night went for 17 yards. It’s the first time in 190 games that Andy Reid has coached the Chiefs without a passing game of at least 18 yards. The last time they didn’t have an 18-yard reception was in a 38-3 loss to the Broncos in Denver on the final day of the 2012 season — the last Majors game Reid didn’t coach. The longest reception of the day was a 16-yarder from Brady Quinn to Tony Moecki. The Chiefs’ longest play by a wide receiver in that game went for just six yards — to Devon Wiley. Their wide receivers coach was Nick Siriani.

2. Patrick Mahomes threw 43 passes Monday night, but only for 177 yards. That 4.1 yards per pass attempt is a career low — by far. His previous low was 4.5 yards in a win against the Packers in 2021 (37 attempts, 166 yards). That 4.1 mark was the lowest by a Chiefs QB in 12 years since he threw 28 times for 93 yards on 3.3 carries in a 17-10 loss to the Broncos in 2011. 40 or more passes thrown for 180 or fewer yards: Matt Robinson of the Broncos in the 1980 opener (41 attempts, 178 yards) and Jay Cutler of the Bears in 2009 (43 attempts, 171 yards).

3. Jalen Hurts’ two rushing touchdowns gave him 10 career games with multiple rushing touchdowns, tying Cam Newton in the quarterback. Harts now has 35 rushing TDs, tied with Randall Cunningham and Steve Grogan for 11.Th– The most ever by a quarterback. He is now tied for fifth all-time in Eagles history, behind Steve Van Buren (69), Wilbert Montgomery (45), LeSean McCoy (44) and Brian Westbrook (37). Harts and Van Buren are the only Eagles with nine or more rushing TDs in three seasons. His 32 TDs since Opening Day 2021 are the most in the NFL, three more than Austin Eckler.

4. The Eagles won all three games, outgained by 98 yards against Washington, 114 yards against the Cowboys and 98 yards again Monday night against the Chiefs. They are the first team in NFL history to win three straight games in the same season despite having at least 98 yards in all three games. The Saints lost three straight games, but those were the final two games of 1990 and the opening game of 1991. Although the Eagles won by 131 yards, including the opener in New England, the Eagles are the first team since the 2015 Colts to win four games by at least 98 yards in a season. That connects 2.Th– Most in NFL history. In the year In 1984, the Broncos won five games. The last team to go 4-0 or better in a season with 98 or more games was the 2000 Ravens. So far this year, teams outside of the Eagles are 12-69 when rushing at least 98 yards. So the Eagles have given up 98 more yards and have 20 percent of their wins league-wide. The Eagles haven’t won two consecutive games in the same season since 1988 when they had 98 yards rushing. Their largest previous yardage margin came in 1974, when they outgained the Cowboys, Colts and Chargers by 215 yards.

5. The Eagles scored 1 point.StQuarter points in all 10 games this year. This is the first time in franchise history that they have scored 1 point in the first quarter and the first time they have scored 1 point in their first 10 games.St-Quarter points in 10 consecutive games at any point in a season. They’ve scored in the first quarter in 11 straight games twice in two seasons — in the 1943 and 1944 seasons and again in last year’s regular-season finale and in 10 games this year. The irony about this is that the Eagles scored 63 points in the first quarter – the fewest of any quarter. They scored 68 in the second, 72 in the third and 67 in the fourth (and three in overtime).

6. This is the first game since sacks became an official stat in 1982 that the Eagles have allowed five sacks and gained less than 240 yards of offense. In fact, league-leading teams that allow five sacks and less than 240 yards are now 11-158 since 2013.

7. The last time the Eagles trailed by double digits at halftime and won a road game was Week 2 of the 2014 season against the Colts in Indianapolis. They trailed 17-6 at halftime and 30-27 on Cody Parkey’s field goal in his second career game with 0:00 left. Nick Foles threw for 331 yards and Darren Sproles had a game-high 152 receiving yards. Before Monday night, the Chiefs were 62-6 under Andy Reid when they led by double digits at halftime. The Chiefs went on an 18-game winning streak and scored their first goal. The Eagles are 11-2 in their last 13 games and have not scored a first down.

8. With their ninth win of the season, the Eagles set a winning record this year, and Nick Sirianni became the second coach in franchise history to record a winning streak in his first three seasons. first? That was Jim Trimble, whose teams went 7-5 in 1952, 7-4-1 in 1953 and 7-4-1 in 1954. After the Eagles finished 4-7-1 in 1955, Trimble was fired.

9. The Eagles, who were plus-1 on Monday night, have now won 22 straight games and are plus-1 or a loser. Their last loss was to the Chiefs in 2021, a 42-30 loss despite being a plus one. During the same period, they are 11-11 when they are zero or worse. After a six-game streak of plus-zero or worse — the Rams through Washington’s second game — the Eagles have been able to make a positive turnaround in back-to-back games after the first two weeks of the season. Going back to 2017, the Eagles are 46-3 when plus one or better. This is their longest winning streak since 1944 to 1951 when they won 41 in a row with a positive margin.

10. D’Andre Swift is on pace for 1,173 rushing yards and 56 receptions. The only Eagles running backs with 1,100 rushing yards and 50 yards in a season are Brian Westbrook in 1995 and 1996, Brian Westbrook in 2006 and 2007 and LeSean McCoy in 2013.
