Before you can download, install, and play Skyrim together, there are a few things you’ll need to get the mod working properly (and to make installation as easy as possible). First, you need to make sure you use The latest version of Skyrim Special Edition or Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Steam, as these are the only versions of Skyrim where the mod works. You can check if the currently installed version of Skyrim Special Edition is compatible by following these steps (all Anniversary Edition versions will work):

  1. go to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition in your Steam Library.
  2. right click on it the name of the game.
  3. Select in the drop-down menu Manage.
  4. choose View local files.
  5. In the File Explorer window that appears, Right-click the SkyrimSE.exe file.
  6. Select in the drop-down menu Features.
  7. Select in the pop-up window Details tab.
  8. Look for version 1.6.x in the description Product version order.
