83 minutes: Porro drove down the right and pounced twice and eventually won a corner from Perisic. Poro takes himself. The corner is half-cleared, then Santos’ tentative long-range advance is blocked.

81 minutes: Emerson is now in the book to pull Santos’ shirt.

80 minutes Edwards went down the middle of the park and slipped a pass to Poro. Easy for Lloris in the end but Spurs were out of form there. A previous cross might have caused a problem.

78 minutes: Emerson passes through Sports A place in the vicinity of Ugart. He said he would be penalized, but was found offside anyway. I’m not sure there is much to do with it. He must have yellowed it to look like an offside flag.

76 minutes: Paulinho comes to Trincao before the penalty shootout. Then the set piece is cleared in half, but only goes out to Kulusevsky on the left side. Kulusevski dives to the near post where Richarlison sends it diving wide of the post.

75 minutes: Kulusevski barrels down the right side and reaches the line. Just before he enters the box, Reyes comes over and chops him down in no uncertain terms. Booking, and a free kick on the right Sports The box next to the line.

74 minutes: Spurs will have a few players up front in attack. Emerson swings in a cross from the right. Nowhere near his teammates. Easy choices for a hunter.

73 minutes: Both groups make a difference. Alexandropoulos comes in for Morita, and Kulusevski replaces Son.

71 minutes: Perisic dropped his shoulder to ground down the left and fired a stunning low cross into the six-yard box. Kane inches away from meeting at the far post with a telescopic foot. Both teams go for the winner; Here’s the fun last 20 or so.

70 minutes Davies allowed Dowled and Edwards to get out of the way at the expense of a corner. Tossed from right, half cleared. Morita swung and scored a volley. The ball can’t go through the players bush and it’s clear, but what poison! That would have lifted the net.

58 min. Richarlison sashays in from the right and goes down to the low curler to the left. The ball flies harmlessly off the post, and the keeper covers it anyway.

56 minutes: There wasn’t that much time and space for Edouard to the left of D, but the shot was quickly blocked by Dier. 51 minutes: Three big chances fell to Emerson. If only one of them had fallen to Kane, Childs or Richarlison, you’d want Spurs to bag at least a couple.

49 min. Emerson again! Spurs won on penalties Sports Half. Kane takes it and first carves the other way around the belt to send a deflected diagonal ball to Emerson inside the Sporting box on the right. Emerson’s shot was saved by Aden on his knees in the bottom right corner. Nothing will come from the corner created.

48 minutes: Kane crosses long from the left. Emerson rises in the distance. The challenger Santos wins all overs, and sends a header down and over the top right. Adan claws away just in time.

47 minutes: A low start to the second half.

The second half is sporting. There are no changes.

Hugo Lloris You ruin sport. Spurs fans will be outraged by the situation, but what a shame Edwards’ run has never ended in success. It would be the only goal for ages!

45 min +1: Edwards lifts the ball into the goal from the right side of the center circle. He swerved around three men, beat Dier twice and left him sliding on the turf before embarking on a Maradonesque dribble upfield. It’s a thrilling race! The ball gets past Perisic and sticks to his toe. He then engaged in a one-two with Trincão, before getting to the edge of the six-yard box, lobbing Romero and heading into the bottom right. Lloris blocks with his feet, the ball luckily goes wide for a corner. That would have been one hell of a goal! a lot of In the year Similar to El Diego’s famous run against England in 1986.
