So what’s the latest? Don’t worry – it’s still on the way. In response to a fan’s question on social media about a target release, Barone simply said it would come when it was ready. This is exactly what it is:
No target release date… just “when ready”
Barone is also currently hard at work on his next project The Haunted Chocolatier. Currently, it’s locked in for a PC release, but no other major platforms have been confirmed.
Stardew previous The version 1.5 update was previously released on Nintendo Switch in February of last year and it’s still on the way to mobile devices. It added new gameplay options, including Beach Farm, advanced gameplay options for game customization, split-screen local co-op, and more.
