Rocksteady developers behind the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League— DC villain-themed open-world co-op loot shooter—revealed some new details and thinking behind the game’s combat transition, seasons, and end-game content. And while it’s still a live service game that’s going to have its issues, I’m feeling optimistic about it based on these recent responses, which at least sound good on paper.

If you’re playing with friends and beat the current point in your own game, the developers say you’ll be able to skip those sections when you return to your solo world. Of course, just because a game has great endgame and season transition plots doesn’t mean it’s going to be good.
