AMD Ryzen 7000 series is getting significant price cuts in China
AMD Zen4 desktop is up to 27% off for a limited time.
A few days ago, AMD implemented new prices for the Ryzen 5000 (Zen3) desktop CPU series via the official US store. However, it looks like AMD is now introducing a new price for the Ryzen 7000 series, albeit for a limited time and only for Chinese buyers.
according to Express review, some new Ryzen 7000 SKUs will be discounted by up to 27% ahead of the popular 11.11 “Singles Day” sales. All four models will receive a significant price reduction and are also offered in bundles with compatible motherboards.
AMD Ryzen 7000 limited time sales (Old → Promo prices)
- Ryzen 9 7950X: ¥5499 ($765) → ¥3999 ($557) → ($208 / 27% off)
- Ryzen 9 7900X: ¥4299 ($598) → ¥3299 ($459) → ($139 / 23% off)
- Ryzen 7 7700X: ¥2999 ($417) → ¥2299 ($320) → ($97 / 23% off)
- Ryzen 5 7600X: ¥2249 ($313) → ¥1699 ($236) → ($77 / 24% off)
A quick conversion shows that some Ryzen 7000 SKUs will be discounted by up to 27%, or $208. At launch, all Ryzen 7000 SKUs were more expensive than official US prices due to local sales taxes. But this limited sale will bring prices down even below that level.
The flagship Ryzen 9 7950X will now cost RMB 3,999, which is just $557 after conversion. Even the 6-core 7600X CPU is discounted to just $236, a 24% price cut with direct currency exchange.

Of course, we don’t recommend buying expensive computer hardware from overseas, especially with shipping costs and import taxes, not to mention potential problems with any warranty claims. However, it is an interesting decision that AMD has reduced the price of CPU series that are not yet 1.5 months old.
