Edwards most recently played for Kansas City with one interception, five pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, one fumble recovery and 51 total tackles in 17 games, including five starts.

The security believes that several factors distinguish it from others in its position.

“I feel like my spirits are high,” Edwards said. “Seeing where the quarterbacks or different routes are coming in and … taking the ball is the biggest thing for me.”

Edwards spent 2019-2022 with the Buccaneers and played in 58 games with 23 starts. In those four seasons, Edwards had seven interceptions, three pick-sixes, 21 passes defended, 184 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
