For the second consecutive season, the Browns will begin their season at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

This year they will face an NFC East opponent they haven’t played since 2020. The Browns host the Dallas Cowboys on September 8 at 4:25 pm ET and the game will be televised on FOX.

They are single game tickets for the home opener. Available now.

“It’s exciting to be able to open the tournament at home,” said head coach Kevin Stefanski. “Last year’s home opener was electric, and we’re expecting the same atmosphere. We’re going to feed off the energy of our fans and I’m sure this is the first time in 2024. Defending NFC East champions, so it’s going to be a big challenge and we’re looking forward to it.”

In the year They traveled to Dallas in 2020 and beat the Cowboys 49-38 in Week 4. The Browns last hosted the Cowboys in Cleveland in 2016 and lost to Dallas 35-10. The Browns have played the Cowboys 32 times in franchise history since 1960, including three regular season games in the 1960s. Cleveland leads the overall series 18-14.

The Browns have dealt with a number of injuries to both key players in the 2023 season, but are poised to be healthy to start the 2024 season as both QB Deshaun Watson and RB Nick Chubb continue to recover from their respective injuries. They re-signed key players to the Browns’ defense in 2023 to restore the league’s leading defense.

The Cowboys finished the 2023 season atop the NFC East, winning the division for the first time since 2021 and the second time in three seasons. They finished the regular season with a 12-5 record but lost to the Packers in the wild card round. However, this offseason, the Cowboys made a significant move in bringing back star quarterback Ezekiel after he spent the 2023 season with the Patriots.

The Browns may have a tough challenge to start the season, but it could set the tone for Cleveland in Week 1.
