The first episode Expanse: The Fairy Tale Series finally has a release date. You’ll be able to join the game on July 27th via the Epic Games Store on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

Unlike previous Telltale titles that often leave fans hanging for months between episodes (sometimes due to external issues), you won’t have to wait too long for more installments. Telltale says a new episode will drop every two weeks until all five are out in the wild. The standard version of the game costs $40 and the deluxe version costs $45. Pre-order on the PlayStation or Epic store and you’ll be able to play a day early, while the deluxe edition will include access to more content on the way in the future. Expect to hear more about this later.

The game acts as a prequel breadth, A television show that ran for three seasons on Syfy before Amazon Prime picked it up and produced three more seasons. Cara Gee reprises her role as Camina Drummer, the game’s playable character.

Width It is said to have the “biggest and most impactful reveal” of any Telltale game to date. Helping to lead the scavenger crew, Drummer will clear shipwrecks, walk on ceilings and walls using magnetic boots, and use zero-gravity thrusters to float through open space. You’ll have to fight the threat of an uprising and, this being a Telltale game, you’ll have to make tough decisions that affect the future of Artemis’s crew.
