heard a lot about Galaxy S23 Ultra and what will its new camera system look like remove all other phones from the water. Now, an alleged sample photo taken with an unreleased Galaxy S23 Ultra seems to back up those claims.

The three pictures of the pumpkin you see below are believed to have been taken with the Galaxy S23 Ultra Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Pixel 7 Pro respectively. Images are original “I freeze the universe” on a Chinese social media network Weibo and appear to have been shot through the original cameras, after which they were manually zoomed in and cropped for a closer look at the details. In the case of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, this should be a sample shot of the 200MP main sensor.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra camera captures more details

Color reproduction is similar on the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra. That is, the colors seem to be a little more saturated than the Google Pixel 7 Pro, so that the scene looks more vivid and has a higher contrast. Whether you prefer Samsung’s or Google’s approach is largely subjective, but colors aside, the point of these three photos is to highlight the level of detail – which is why they’ve been zoomed in and cropped by hand.

When it comes to details, the Galaxy S23 Ultra blows the other two phones out of the water. While photos taken with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro look good on their own, the Galaxy S23 Ultra looks almost washed out next to the sample shot. The latter shows more details about the pumpkin while preserving many of the flaws that make it unique.

Assuming this is indeed a sample photo taken with the Galaxy S23 Ultra, keep in mind that the phone isn’t even out yet. This means it is running pre-release firmware. The camera software may get even better before the phone hits the shelves next year.

Samsung It is reported that it intends to introduce the Galaxy S23 Ultra early January or first week of February 2023. According to previous leaks, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and two 10MP telephoto cameras, one with 3x optical zoom and the other with a 10x folding zoom element.
