The best iPad deal during Prime Day was on the 2020 iPad Air, on sale at Walmart for $379 ($220 off). But the newer, faster iPad Mini has taken its place A $100 markdown at Best Buy brings it down to $399.99. When you are technically getting less tablet for your money – it has an 8.3-inch screen compared to the Mini Air’s 10.9-inch screen – it has a slightly faster A15 Bionic chipset than the ones in the 2020 Air. It’s similar in terms of design too, boasting a refreshed look that includes sleek, flat edges, a Touch ID-enabled power button, and a USB-C charging port. Read our review.

Apple introduced the 2021 iPad Mini at last year’s fall hardware event, so it’s possible that a new version is coming soon. If the Mini continues to follow the Air’s trajectory, this could mean we’ll see Apple’s M1 chip, along with other minor changes. Here is my colleague Dan Seifert thought about how Air benefits from owning the M1 (spoiler: not as much as you think!).

2021 iPad Mini (64GB, Wi-Fi)

Apple’s updated iPad Mini ditches the home button in favor of a wider screen. It also features a faster processor, USB-C support, and a top-mounted power button that lights up as does the Touch ID sensor.

Walmart is hosting a great deal on the 2022 edition of the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro gaming laptop. It normally costs $2000, Walmart has a great setup for $1,599. It has a 16-inch QHD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a fast refresh rate of 165Hz. It doesn’t disappoint in terms of specs, including an Intel Core i7-12700H processor, an RTX 3070, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Read my review of this year’s Intel-based version.

This model is rare to find, let alone on sale at the best price of the season. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better specs (along with a better typing experience) for your money than other gaming laptops.

Elgato’s products for broadcasters and video content creators are rarely affordable, but this deal makes one of its coolest gadgets $20 off. Its Key Light Mini normally costs $100, but you can get it on Amazon for $79.99. It’s a rectangular, rechargeable light that will make you look better on camera, and it goes beyond what most other basic lights can do.

It offers adjustable color temperature (from pure white to a more sunset-like orange) along with multiple brightness levels. The Key Light Mini has simple controls and you can make adjustments over Wi-Fi via the Elgato app. My favorite part is that it’s magnetic, so you don’t exactly need a tripod mount for it (though it does have a tripod handle).
