Application fee

For One Paper (UTET I / UTET II)

• General / OBC Rs 600/-
• SC/ST/PH: Rs 300/-

For both paper (UTET I and UTET II)

• General / OBC Rs 1,000/-
• SC/ST/PH: Birr 500/-
• Candidates should pay their exam fee through ITI College Prepaid Coupon, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking mode only.

Age limit

Eligibility

For UTET I (Main Level: Class I to V):

• A minimum of 50% in Senior High School (or equivalent) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.ed/BTC) must be passed or in the final year. Or
• Minimum 45% in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC) as per NCTE Regulations, 2002 must be passed or in final year. Or
• Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Or
• Graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks and must have passed or be in the final year of 1-year Bachelor of Education (BAD) as per NCTE norms. Or
• Must have at least 50% marks in Senior High School (or equivalent) and a 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.El.ed) passed or in final year. Or
• Must have at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) passed or in final year. Or
• BA/B.Sc./B.Com degree and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC) must be passed or passed.

For UTET II (Upper Primary: Class VI to VIII):

• Graduate and either passed or 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC) in final year.
• Graduated with minimum 50% marks and either passed or in final year of 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
• Graduated with minimum 45% marks and passed final year of 1-year Bachelor of Education (BAD) as per NCTE norms.
• Have a minimum of 50% marks in Senior High School (or equivalent) and be either passed or in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (B.El.ed).
• At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) and either pass or 4-year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BAEd/B.Sc.Ed.
• BA/B.Sc./B.Com degree with minimum 50% marks and passed final year of 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).
