Valorant players are calling for Riot developers to rework Neo to make it a “good” Agent and less niche.

From 10 Agents and 4 maps at launch to a staggering total of 23 Agents and 10 maps now, Valorant has changed a lot over the years since launch.

Not only that, but in addition to adding new content, Riot is constantly tweaking different weapons, maps, and agents to keep the game fresh.

In particular, in the past we’ve seen some big changes to Agents that have been left behind as Riot makes the necessary changes to bring them back to life. Now players are offering to work again for Neon, who can make the Agent “good”.

Valorant players are calling for Neon changes to make it “good”.

One November 5 Reddit threadone Valorant fan suggested that Riot developers take a look and rework Neon, claiming that the duelist is the worst of the action-oriented agents.

“Neon is one of the three move agents that prefer to dive in and out, and in my opinion is the worst of the three,” they said.

“He’s a very niche agent because he has the worst options in both comp and professional play. It’s simply overshadowed by the penetration of both Jett and Raze and offers nothing but fast spins.”

The player noted that both Jett and Raze have the ability to move vertically when needed, with Jett’s updraft and Raze’s use of satchel packs. To make Neo a more reliable choice, the player suggested that the developers give the Agent a new passive that would give him more options when entering as a duelist.

“One way to improve him is to give him a new passive where he can wall jump and jump every few seconds,” they said. “While Jett and Raze can move in both the y and x axis to facilitate access, Neon can only work.

“Giving him a wall jump will slightly increase his Y-axis movement, making him more evasive and easier to hit. It would be great to see Slide take advantage of this ability as well.”

It’s fair to say that the latest patch is one of the biggest updates we’ve seen in a while, not only introducing a new Agent Iso, but also a number of fixes for existing Agents.

However, it’s unlikely that we’ll see major changes to Agents Like Neon anytime soon, but there’s a possibility that we might see tweaks later in Episode 7 Act 3.
