Here are the famous runners who completed the 2024 Boston Marathon

BOSTON – More than 30,000 people registered to run this year’s Boston Marathon, and there were a few familiar faces in the mix.

The Eritrean-born American won the Boston Marathon in 2014, becoming the first American to win the race since 1983. He also won a silver medal in the marathon at the 2004 Athens Olympics. In honor of his win, he wore a bib numbered 2014.

He completed the 2024 Boston Marathon in 3:08:58. He was competing for the MBB Foundation and raised $26,200 for the charity.

She completed the 2024 Boston Marathon in 2:28:27.

Amby Burfoot is an American journalist and winner of the 1968 Boston Marathon. He is the editor-in-chief of Runner’s World magazine and has written several books on running.

In honor of his victory, he wore a bib numbered 1968. He completed the marathon in 4:59:58.
