Microsoft has announced a second wave of games coming to Game Pass in April 2024. Highlights Orcs Must Die! 3, Eiyuden Chronicle: One Hundred Heroes and the long-awaited Manor Lords.
Today, April 16, Slow Bros’ story game Harold Halibut (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) is a one-day Game Pass release. IGN’s Harold Halibut returned the review 8/10. We called it a “hearty, wholesome, handcrafted adventure.”
Tomorrow, April 17, Robot Entertainment’s Orcs Must Die! 3 (Cloud, Console and PC) are coming to Game Pass. Orcs Must Die! 3 received a 7/10 in IGN review. We said it was a “very familiar to players of the second game, but still a fun and silly action/tower defense challenge.”
A day later, on April 18, EA Sports NHL 24 (Console) coincides with the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play. In IGN’s NHL 24 review, we said, “NHL 24’s new gameplay features liven up the action on the ice, but its collection of unimproved game modes grows increasingly boring with each passing year.”
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (Cloud, Console, and PC) is launching Game Pass as a one-day promotion on April 23rd. Rabbit & Bear’s awesome JRPG is set in a hand-crafted 2.5D world and lets you collect six-sided gameplay. a team of over a hundred heroes.
Another Game Pass first release of the day, Another Crab’s Treasure (Cloud, Console and PC) will be available on April 25th. You play the hermit crab Krill.
On April 26, Slavic Magic’s Manor Lords (Game Preview) (PC) is available as a one-day Game Pass release. Manor Lords is a medieval strategy game featuring deep city-building, large-scale tactical battles, and complex economic and social simulations. It is the most desired game on Steam, ahead of Hades 2 and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
And finally, rounding out this month is Magic Design Studios’ Have A Nice Death (Cloud, Console, and PC), coming to Game Pass on April 30th. IGN gave Have A Nice Death an 8/10 in our review: Nice Death is a punishing yet satisfying roguelike with some extremely tough boss battles, but can be a bit stingy with long-term progress.”
Meanwhile, Microsoft announced more games coming to Game Pass Core on April 23. Three games have been added to the library for subscribers:
