Good morning from Valhalla Golf Club, where the fog has burned off and the sun is peeking through the treetops. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy come out after 8:00pm today and we have a full list of the world’s best players.
Much of the pre-tournament talk has focused on golf’s ongoing civil war and personal life, so it’s a relief for the players — and many fans — that play is now underway. In three days, a major champion will emerge from this 156-man field, and it must be hell to get there.
