Pokémon Go Tour: Sinnoh is almost here, and Niantic always has a few hidden bonuses for players to unlock during big events. But this time, it won’t include the main elements of the region it’s based on, namely Arceus.

Go Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles, the private part of this year’s event, will run from February 16th to 18th and will feature nearly every Pokémon from the Gen IV games. Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia will also perform outside for the first time Pokémon Legends: Arceus through special event raids. Arceus himself will not appear.

in a statement from Pokémon Go The Live Events team, Dot Esports, has learned that Niantic has no plans to include Arceus, Manaphy, or Phione in Go Tour: Sinnoh, even though they are some of the only Gen IVs not in the game. According to the team, they are more focused on giving each Pokémon a place to shine without being tied to something else. “All three of these Pokémon are really special, and we wanted to give them a special place when they finally get their own game. Pokémon Go debut,” a Pokémon Go the spokesman said.

This statement shows that Niantic doesn’t want to overload Go Tour: Sinnoh with too much featured content when Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia are new titles. It also follows the company’s usual strategy of spreading new Pokémon releases, especially important ones like Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, over as many different events as possible.

Arceus is one of the most important Pokemon to not exist Pokémon Go however, since this season is called Timeless Journeys and we don’t know anything about Go Fest 2024 yet, there’s a good chance we’ll see the literal God of Pokemon appear soon – potentially alongside Manafi and Phione.
